Sales Order Processor

We are currently for a Sales Order Processor to work for a company in Newbury to cover an 8-12 leave on a temporary basis.

Primary Functions  & Responsibilities 

• Ensure that sales orders are dated and entered into the stock system in an accurate and timely manner
• Allocate Serial numbers to Sales Order lines as appropriate
• Create Sales Order Packing Lists
• Update Sales Orders spreadsheet
• Photocopy and distribute sales orders and associated documentation as appropriate
• Maintain departmental filing system to ensure a complete record of Customers’ requirements
• Handle sales order enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
• Deal with written correspondence, including emails, letters and faxes

Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience


• Experience of working within a busy administration environment.
• Self-motivated, team player, able to operate with the minimum of supervision and communicate clearly
• Good IT skills to include Microsoft Office
• Good administration skills
• A self-motivated team player able to operate with the minimum of supervision and communicate clearly with employees at all levels
• Logical and methodical with good attention to detail
