We are looking for a Customer Service Administrator with a conversational level of spoken German. This is an additional person needed in an existing team due to growth in the company.
Our client is a distribution company, offering a fun filled product to their customers in the retail and event sectors. They are part of a large international company, and the office in Bishops Stortford looks after their customers in the UK, Europe and Russia, and you will have particular responsibility for clients in Germany.
The wider team are a lively and friendly bunch of people who work together really well to provide the very best service to their customers. Going the extra mile is standard practice and everyone is friendly and passionate about the company and its successes.
On a day to day basis you will be dealing with inbound calls and emails from customers who want to place orders. These will be both in English and German, depending on the customer. You will put them onto the system, ensure that the stock is available, advise of any shortfalls and liaise with the warehouse to get the good delivered.
All contact will need to be logged carefully on the Database. You will need to be organised and able to manage your workload and make sure nothing falls in a crack!! You will be natural and comfortable on the phone, and have a good standard of grammar and spelling to ensure professionally written emails are sent.
Your German does not need to be perfect, we are looking for someone who can help German customers who in the main speak excellent English.
This role will use your strong and friendly communication skills, your organisation and your time management. You will be a friendly voice to your customers, in a busy environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least one years’ office based customer service/sales order processing experience, and be well versed in Microsoft Office.
You will be energetic, dynamic, helpful, hands on, willing and able to take control of situations that have a problem that needs solving.
Based in the north of Bishops Stortford, the offices are smart and provide a comfortable working environment. There is onsite parking and a staff kitchen.
The salary for this role will be £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending upon your experience.
