NEW role at premium brand company based in Harrogate. Working with the accounts department, this is an outward focused role, with the need to build relationships quickly through email and phone communications and periodic face to face meetings.
Managing the Sales Ordering Process, you will communicate regularly internally between departments.
Managing the confirmation and acceptance of orders and raise sales invoices within the Company’s ERP/Accounting systems
Managing the accounting, including the reconciliation of all remittances, returns, rebates, marketing discounts and promotional funding agreed with customers
Assisting with the allocation and monitoring of agreed/budgeted marketing spend including coding and internal marketing account reconciliations
Setting up new National Retailer Accounts, including agreed product prices
Potentially assisting with the implementing of new internal processes and systems, product registration and returns projects, web integration projects etc.
Skills & Experience
Experience of Sales Order Processing and regular dealing with B2B clients
Use of ERP / Accounting systems / CRM databases
An understanding of Sage 200 ERP - experience beneficial but not essential
Excellent IT skills including MS Outlook and Excel skills
Possible experience with third party EDI / Purchasing systems
Commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
Good numeracy with some accounting or account management background
Able to measure and monitor KPIs and provide agreed reports, both internally and externally
To be proactive, with confidence in suggesting cost savings/improvements
Salary is up to £25k plus benefits and onsite parking.
