My client is looking for a Sales Manager to run a small contact centre, managing a team of 10-15 agents, the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate experience managing a team in a similar background.

Main Duties:

  • Hiring, coaching & leading representatives as they provide support with customers
  • Answering questions and guiding agents through difficult calls
  • Leading team meetings
  • Establishing trends and creating call centre goals
  • Ensuring staff members are achieving desired service levels
  • Preparing reports and analysing data
  • Run the day to day operations of the business ensuring that effective methods are put in place so that the company runs to its maximum productivity
  • The job holder will be expected to harness a working environment which encourages teamwork, energy and excellent problem solving
  • To manage a team of Telesales/Administrators
  • Have a strong knowledge of motivating and driving sales & profitability
  • Apply SMART objectives and goals to your team
  • Manage relationships between company and customer to ensure that a smooth transaction occurs
  • Liaise with credit controllers to ensure balance on accounts are correct whilst supporting the accounts team with regular communications with debt
  • Maintain knowledge of customer trends and recommendations to SMT
  • Carry out appraisal training
  • Carry out 121 with team

To succeed in this role

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in an office sales team
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Ability to present to SMT
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
  • Client focused, with a customer service disposition
  • Excellent IT skills

This role is on a permanent basis with a salary of £22,000 - £25,000
