Sales Office Co-Ordinator

Our client based the heart of Somerset in Cheddar are looking for a Sales Office Co-Ordinator to join their busy team.

Summary of requirement:

You will need to be able to carry out full administrative duties so as to maintain and develop sales of our client's products to UK accounts.

A good sense of humour and a positive approach are essential whilst working with a strong sense of urgency and a high degree of accuracy.

You will need to be a proactive and confident individual with lots of initiative and the ability to multi-task. You must possess excellent communication skills to ensure strong working relationships with internal and external customers alike.

Specific role responsibilities:

*To manage the order cycle, processing in a timely and accurate manner, using Microsoft Navision, to include: Order confirmation; validation check of order ensuring amendments to orders are actioned immediately
*Monitor order status, communicating confirmation and any issues/delays to customers
*Liaise with internal suppliers to ensure stock requirements are satisfied and to ensure smooth delivery to customer
*Use of a CRM system
*Respond in a timely fashion to sales enquiries by email, telephone or post, whichever method is appropriate
*Maintain existing and new customers through planned individual account support
*Create documents using Word, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint
*Communicate and provide information by relevant methods both internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations and effective service
*Transportation liaison
*Support to external Sales Managers

Working Hours: 37.5hrs per week, requirement to work 7.5 hours per day on shift system. 8am - 4:30pm, 1hr lunch and 9am - 5:30pm, 1hr lunch.

Annual Leave: 33 days including Bank Holiday's rising to 34 days on 5 years' service and 35 days on 10 years' service.

There is also the option to purchase 3 days additional holiday leave and carry over leave. There is also 0.5 days given for a birthday. 3 days of holiday must be held for our Christmas shutdown.
