Sales & Marketing Manager - Poole - up to £30,000 DOE

Our client based in Poole are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team on a fixed term contract.

The main aspect for the role is to be responsible for marketing and sales strategy for the small business to increase leads and hit sales KPI's. Operate in the B2B technology consulting space dealing with off the shelf business technology, confident creating content and messaging around this area.

Main responsibilities:

  • Strategic management of the company's Sales and Marketing, making sure company messaging and positioning are right for our target audience.
  • Build a PR strategy. Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts ensuring they're aware of the brand's expertise.
  • Devise and manage tactical marketing & PR campaigns across a range of channels.
  • Work alongside the Director on outreach campaigns, identifying named accounts, mapping organisational decision-makers.
  • Creating all company marketing content, planning, and distributing content in a variety of mediums.
  • Devise and manage the creation of multimedia content including video, infographics, GIFs, etc.
  • Manage company website and increase traffic via SEO and content strategy.
  • Use analytics to review performance and implement improvements across the website.
  • Manage outsourced freelancers such as designers and ensure projects are delivered within deadlines and budgets.
  • Use our HubSpot Marketing & CRM software to speak to prospective customers and qualify warm leads.
  • Maintain the CRM system, leading the way on good practices on keeping clean and GDPR compliant data, and following up with cold leads passed back by the team.
  • Track and measure the performance of all Marketing and sales activities.
  • Ownership of companies marketing budget.
  • Deciding where best to place funds, i.e advertising, events, PPC to make the most impact.

Key Skills:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a Sales & Marketing role
  • Experience in a B2B marketing, business development
  • HubSpot platform experience is desired but not essential.
  • Diploma in Marketing or an equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Creative and commercially minded.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday, flexible working hours.
