Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus/Commission + Company Car
Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Syntech Recruitment are seeking a Sales Manager to become the go-to partner for new and existing clients, someone who thrives on solving complex challenges and building lasting commercial relationships.

Sales Manager Duties:

As a Sales Manager, you'll work closely with clients to understand their operational goals, provide expert solutions, and build long-term partnerships. Your day-to-day will include:

• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients across recycling, waste processing, or industrial sectors
• Leading site visits to assess customer requirements and offer bespoke technical solutions
• Preparing technical quotations, commercial proposals, and full tender responses
• Managing your own sales pipeline, delivering against agreed KPIs and revenue targets
• Identifying new business opportunities across Ireland and converting leads into sales
• Liaising with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate solution delivery
• Representing the brand at exhibitions, trade events and industry conferences
• Keeping the CRM system fully updated and producing weekly sales activity reports

Sales Manager Requirements:

• A successful track record in Sales Manager, ideally in waste recycling, capital equipment, plant hire, materials handling, or environmental engineering
• Mechanical or electrical understanding (even better if you’ve worked with shredders, conveyors, or compactors)
• The ability to read engineering drawings and interpret layouts
• Bonus: Experience with CAD tools or 3D modelling software (not essential)
• A confident, credible communication style with a consultative approach
• A proactive attitude – you’re motivated by performance and building something long-term
• A full clean driving licence – this is a field-based role with client travel
