This Major Division manufactures a range of bespoke fluid handling, pumping, process plant and engineering solutions for applications in the industrial, process, manufacturing, chemical, engineering, waste, water and many other sectors.
This Area Sales Managers position will involve managing and developing key sales accounts with OEMs, Distributors, chemical, pharmaceutical & food end users, chemical engineering consultants, and process contractor accounts. This is a very successful and prosperous area. Market places include the process, engineering and industrial market places (process, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil, gas, paper, pulp, print, textile, food, food production, beverage, brewing, distilleries, water, waste, sewage, analytical, scientific equipment manufacturers, engineering houses, design companies, consultants, universities, schools, laboratories, healthcare, life sciences, hospitals, instrumentation, paint, automotive, coatings, print, spraying general manufacturing etc).

This key role requires a fine balance between sales, account management and engineering ability. Thus key requirements include the ability to be able to deal with a comprehensive range of technical products, good sales ability and relationship building skills. Any dealings of Industrial sales, process sales, engineering sales, end user sales and OEM sales would also help. Any experience of dealing with pumps, valves, seals, gaskets, mixers, hydraulics, pneumatics, process plant, rotating equipment and associated fluid handling solutions would also help. It is also vital that the individual possesses good communication and can present at a variety of different customers levels i.e. engineering, production, maintenance, quality, shop floor, manufacturing through to director levels.
