About the Company
Our client is a rapidly expanding business who offer a website building and ongoing maintenance service to multitude of sole traders and SME’s across the UK.
They are passionate about the professional websites they create, using their bespoke technology and they would like to find a personable, ambitious and equally passionate Sales Manager to manage the daily intake of warm leads.
What will your working week will be like?
This is a full time position, where you will be working alongside 3 Web Designers - where you will be striving to convert and close a qualified stream of leads into sales, offering a custom built website service to business customers. This is not a cold calling role!
You will be provided with a stream of interested, qualified leads and then use a sophisticated CRM system to call, track and convert these into sales.
To be a great at sales you have to love the product - the business is passionate about the sites they build and offer the best quality product, the best service and affordable prices. So, in addition to technical training, you will initially shadow the designers and watch as beautiful websites come to life almost instantly.
Your job will be to convey the quality of the product, the enthusiasm of the designers, and the delight of the existing customers to encourage business owners to sign up for a new website.
Who will suit this role?
You must have a proven track record of business to business sales (minimum 2 years). You will have a very positive and professional attitude, get on well with colleagues and take pride in your own performance and the performance of a team.
- Confident on the telephone
- A completer/ finisher/ closer and sees everything through
- Familiar with CRM systems
- Able to pick up technical concepts easily
- A great communicator who can build rapport with a client quickly, is a great listener, asks insightful questions and can work out what a client really needs
- Eager to take full ownership of sales activities and to deliver against targets
- Able to handle rejection and be tenacious
- Numerate and competent with business software such as MS Office and CRM systems
- A proficient English writer and has perfect spoken English
- Commercially aware
