My client based in Basingstoke are seeking a Sales Manager to join their team on a permanent basis

This is an exciting role working within a growing sales team within the FMCG/ Wholesale market

Sales Manager Duties:

  • Targeting new and existing customers
  • Managing the sale of goods through offer stage all the way through to final delivery
  • Working closely with other teams around the business to make sure sales are completed effectively
  • Understanding the needs and wants of the customer to finalise the sale
  • Using your excellent communication skills to speak to customers through telephone, email and face to face meetings
  • Being a self-starter who thinks out the box to help find new ways to do the role
  • Working in an exciting, fast paced environment with the ability to hit KPI's
  • Predominately sales this role is about finding the right products, at the right price and presenting this accurately with speed to existing and new customers
  • Un - capped commission structure with the ethos to get on and make it your own

Sales Manager Skills:

  • 3 - 4 years sales experience in an FMCG wholesale industry
  • A degree in a business related field is desirable but not essential
  • Tenacious and resilient individual with the drive to succeed
  • A self-starter with the ability to work well within a team
  • Strong work ethic
  • Travel as of when required to build and maintain business relationships. UK and European
  • Computer literate with a good understanding of all MS packages including PowerPoint (presenting to customer will be required)
  • Creative thinker with the ability to think out the box
