Sales Manager

My creditable client based in Uxbridge are seeking an experienced sales manager within the Aerospace industry to join their friendly team.

The job responsibilities include,

*To oversee all Client related account management, order progressing and aftermarket operations as required.
*To manage the process for loading all sales enquiries into the system.
*To oversee the preparation and issue of quotations to clients and the development of contracts as appropriate.
*To lead on the preparation for and ensure appropriate attendance at relevant trade shows and exhibitions.
*Monitor team performance and prepare reports and information to reflect progress updates which may be included in team meetings, monthly reports and any other business communication processes.
*Motivate and manage staff performance within the team to ensure delivery of the Department's Key Areas of Responsibility.
*To oversee the client account management by the sales team staff and to manage his or her client accounts as appropriate.
*Ensure that people management policies are adhered to, and that direct reports are well managed, which may include; management of existing staff; overseeing recruitment of new staff; performance management, appraisal, reward and recognition, career development; learning and development; and employee relations matters.
*Ensure that the team's activities are carried out in line with standards and codes of practice
*To work in conjunction with the Business Development team to negotiate and secure new business.
*To ensure that client delivery dates are monitored and updates are provided to clients as appropriate.
*To oversee the activity relating to all promotional calls and visits.
*Improve company performance through building a strong team work ethic across the organization and leading by example in demonstrating the company values.
*Ensure the proper management of financial resources, budgetary control and ensure budgets are prepared for areas of responsibility.
*To oversee the negotiations with clients and get directly involved with negotiations (as appropriate) on potential costs and business terms.
