THE ROLE: The role of Sales Manager will see you developing a team of 6 Field Sales Executives spread across the Southern part of the U.K. Your team will be charged with selling a range of products into retailers, stockists and builders merchants. This role is very much a people management position, motivating and mentoring the team, recruiting new sales professionals and looking after budgets, however, an element of the role will also include managing some house accounts. This team currently turnsover £8million but there is potential on the region to grow this in 2018 by an additional quarter of a million.
THE PERSON: As full product training is on offer our client is able to look at Sales Managers who are not from their industry, so if you can demonstrate at interview that you have managed a team and can coach, mentor and motivate then this could be an ideal position for you. Our client is also able to look at Sales Professionals from within the construction industry who are ready for that next step up in their career. If you are currently selling into merchant or contractors and can clearly show at interview that you are a top performer and that your career to date has followed a path which is leading you into people management then this could be the opportunity that you have been waiting for to progress your career in.

THE PACKAGE FOR SALES MANAGER:
- Salary: £40,000
- Bonus: £20,000+
