This job offers you best of both worlds. Working from home with weekly travel into the city of London to meet up with colleagues.
You MUST travel into London approx. once a week, so applicant must live at commutable distance.
The client is a pioneering conference company that produces niche events (between 15-20 per year) with a high level of interaction with their visitors.
As Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will be responsible for securing sponsorship revenue to your portfolio of events. The successful candidate will be a driven and commercial event sales person who is used to achieving KPI's and looking to stabilise their career long term. You need to be able to build strong relationships with different clients, both on the phone as face to face.
This position would suit someone who is able to demonstrate a passion for Sales, and can provide tangible examples of previous sponsorship success. You will be engaging and confident with an ability to create and maintain relationships with sponsors and event owners, whilst managing the expectations of both.
Applicants must possess the following;
- At least 2 years of B2B Event/Media experience
- At least 6 months experience in Sponsorship sales
- A high-quality degree or equivalent
- A proven history of achieving targets
- Strong levels of communication skills both verbally and written
- A track record of the closing and negotiating of sales deals
