Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading B2B Media company based in Tonbridge.
They are looking for a Media Sales professional to join this well-established privately-owned publishing house. Joining at Sales Manager level you must have a good knowledge B2B publishing with at least 3 years’ experience, ideally working across both publications and exhibitions.
You will be required to plan and carry out internal and external sales activities, so as to grow and develop sales revenue across the portfolio. You will need to build upon existing relationships and manage client expectations as well as cultivate new relationships in order to maximise revenue.
- Working with the Director of Sales, you will manage and develop display, classified and digital advertising sales revenues so as to achieve the agreed sales targets for the publication and associated exhibition.
- Maintain high standards of internal communications to ensure effective team work between sales, web development, editorial and external contractors.
- The possibility of managing, developing and motivating an internal telephone sales executive.
- Formulate and manage simple and effective marketing strategies to communicate our portfolio of advertising options to all customers.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Compile regular KPI reports and sales forecasts.
- Use the customer/prospect database effectively, and update relevant information held in this system
In return a basic salary of up to £32,000 + commission and company car
