This position reports directly into the Business Unit Manager for the Large animal division of this global company who produce quality animal pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for planning and organising sales within the UK & Ireland.
Through the effective management of the sales team (5 direct reports), you will achieve the Company’s sales results for the portfolio. This will involve setting sales targets and monitoring performance vs target; ensuring strategic concentration and suitable product mix to maximise the Company’s profitability, and ensuring maximum penetration of the market.
Ideally, you will have previous sales management experience and a passion for the animal health market and be educated to degree level or have equivalent commercial experience. The company's core values are team spirit, open-mindedness, commitment and genuineness.
