A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client based in Brandon who is seeking an addition to their Sales team. Due to an upturn in work load, my client is now seeking an experienced Sales Manager who to join their team. They are happy to consider bringing in this person as a Director too. This position presents an exciting opportunity to grow with the company. We would welcome applications from candidates with the right experience anywhere in the UK.
The company supply pumps and pumping equipment to many different industries and projects all over the UK. Since moving to their location in the heart of Suffolk the company has gone from strength to strength and has lots of exciting growth plans for the future. They had identified a gap in their skills for a candidate who is specifically from the pressurised water systems industry. As such they are seeking applications from candidates who have previous experience of selling cold water booster sets into the building services industry.
The primary purpose of this role is to focus on this specific market area engaging with architects and specifiers who have requirements for such systems when working on new projects. Ideally the successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of this area and ideally some already existing relationships within their own network that they can utilise
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Staying abreast of projects within the industry
- Generating leads and developing a wide network
- Visiting customers as required
- Taking responsibility for growing this specific area of the business
As with any role within a small but growing company, with time the successful candidate will be involved with a number of project and process improvements along the way. For this role we are seeking a candidate who has the confidence and ability to form an integral part of the team, including the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience within a Sales/ Sales Management role and specifically with selling cold water booster sets or similar products
- Prior knowledge of the building services industry
- The ability to engage with new and existing customers
- Excellent negotiation skills
- A pro-active approach new business development
- Outstanding communication skills
