As Sales Manager of the Beauty Hall you’ll not only drive extraordinary customer experiences, you’ll also maximise the division's potential and make a real impact on the success of the wider store.
KNOW THE ROLE
Heading up a team of Department Managers across the main Beauty Hall, you’ll take responsibility for a wide range of luxury skincare, makeup and beauty concession brands – everything from Chanel and Dior, to Kheils and Creme de la mer. It’s about building strong relationships across the department in order to, drive performance levels and boost sales. So taking on real autonomy, scope and responsibility, as well as complete control of your own budget, stock and a turnover of millions; you’ll act as a role model for our world-class service standards. What’s more, working closely with Buying and Merchandising and drawing on your own knowledge of our brands, you’ll influence product performance and choice to maximise stock and maintain exceptional merchandising standards. With a clear view of divisional objectives, you’ll do everything you can to achieve and exceed them, leading your team of concessions to deliver above and beyond expectation.
KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The Sales Manager is responsible for proactively driving the performance of the business by living the values, owning and delivering success for their area of responsibility.
This will be achieved through inspirational leadership of own bought and concession teams, challenging and driving a positive change in behaviours and role modelling exceptional service standards. It is the responsibility of the Sales Manager to empower their Department Manager team to be confident in managing their team and delivering against objectives. Inspiring the Managers and wider teams to be curious in order to develop their knowledge and passion is a vital attribute.
They will work collaboratively with the Buying and Merchandising teams on product management and influence the buying of product for their area of responsibility through their team of Department Managers, Service Managers where applicable and Brand Specialists.
Sales Managers will create a service experience that exceeds customers’ expectations and have a flexible and broad approach to their role demonstrating sound commercial acumen and an in depth understanding of their business.
To succeed, you’ll need a strong management background gained in a high volume, fast paced environment. A background that will not only prove you know how to boost sales, control costs and stock, and increase profits, but that you’ve managed Managers, have a passion for beauty and are able to work with multiple concession brands at once. Commercially astute, you’ll have a creative, can-do attitude, plenty of ideas and a proactive approach to problem solving – especially when it come to managing development projects. And you’ll use your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with teams across the business – creating a smooth running operation that reinforces our reputation as a one of a kind retail experience.
