Sales & Logistics Administrator (end of year), Reading:

  • Ensuring supply requests are completed timely and accurately to trackside garages, manufacturing companies Completing all paperwork around logistics and providing admin support for the team.

  • Completing Safety data sheets, certificates for raw materials Interacting with other teams and ensuring operations are happening at the right pace

  • Ensure orders are tracked and go out the door at the right time Act as the Interface between requests and the internal or external freight companies Order fulfilment/inventory management/planning

  • Operational chasing, ensuring internal actions take place

  • Efficient communication to ensure sales orders are processed efficiently and accurately by dealers within specific SLA's.
  • First level contact for queries regarding orders.
  • Processing cancelled orders efficiently to ensure the best possible customer experience.
  • Analysis of market pricing of competitors and deliver report to the business on a weekly basis
  • Monitor system performance and raise issues with the relevant departments to ensure a speedy resolution.


  • Ideally a logistics/supply chain/planning background

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • The ability to work as part of a team and liaise between various departments Strong Excel skills Experience of SAP or similar an advantage but not essential

  • Detail orientated.
  • Able to input data quickly and accurately
  • Ability to spot irregularities
  • Able to reconcile data quickly
  • Ensuring correct entry on sales orders
  • Matching against bespoke client price lists
  • Supporting the sales team
  • Excellent phone manner and able to write accurate and articulate emails
  • Proficient PC skills - particularly in excel.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Creative forward thinking individual with a bias toward the customer.
  • Proactive with the ability to identify issues and see through to resolution.
  • Confidence to challenge information and then prioritise.
  • Good levels of numeracy.

Job Offer

Sales & Logistics Administrator (end of year), Reading:

£12 - £17 per hour dependant upon experience
