Working within a growing and adapting business based on the outskirts of Leeds city centre, as Sales Ledger Manager you will take responsibility for the management of the Sales Ledger function ensuring all work in the team is controlled whilst providing support and reporting to the Financial Controller.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are to include:

*Overall management of a team of c10 Sales ledger Clerks.
*Extensive use of computer systems - Coldharbour, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
*Develop and maintain the administrative systems and procedures.
*Management and support of the sales ledger team to ensure:
oAccurate and timely production of invoicing.
oAccurate processing of council returns and customer payments.
oAccurate maintenance and collections of direct debit payments.
oQueries to be dealt with in a timely and efficiently manner.
*Reconcile nominal ledger accounts for the Financial Controller.
*Timely and accurate management reporting.
*Form strong working relationships with Credit Control and other areas of the Finance team as needed.
*Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times
*Any other ad hoc duties as reasonable requested
*The ideal individual with have the following skills and experiences:
oStrong background in Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable
*Excellent management ability, able to lead a strong team through growth and changes.
*The ability to manage change and take an active role in process improvement.
