Sales Ledger/Invoicing Assistant - Temp to Perm Opportunity

A well-established, Central Manchester based organisation, is looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team. You will be assisting both the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Supervisor on a day to day basis. This is an exciting opportunity with prospects of it turning into a permanent role.

Sitting within the team you will be required to

  • Process sales invoices
  • Sorting through various ledgers to point out unallocated cash, ensuring everything reconciles
  • Processing high volume of invoices
  • Working with the wider finance team to identify and correct ledger mispostings
  • Instigating legal action when the need arises
  • Responsible for the collection of outstanding debts from a large number of customers
  • Chase invoices for approval
  • Liaising with internal team and external suppliers
  • Dealing with ledger queries by phone, email and letter

The ideal experience should include

  • Previous Sales Ledger experience
  • Strong IT skills including Excel and a detailed understanding of Vlookup
  • Good communication skill
  • Ability to manage and organise own workload

You will need to be ready to hit the ground running in this dynamic and fast paced role. The client is looking for someone who is immediately available and offering a quick turn around on the role.
