Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting for a Sales Ledger/Credit Controller Clerk for a fast growing business within the automotive industry in their busy accounts department.
Your new role
In your new role will you have a mixture of sales ledger and credit control duties. You will be responsible for raising sales ledger invoices for multiple revenue streams within the business. You will be required to chase any outstanding payments and overdue payments. You will be working in a team of 3 alongside a purchase ledger clerk and reporting directly to the Accounts Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recent and relevant Sales Ledger/Accounts Receivable and Credit Control/Debt Recovery experience. You will need to be immediately available as this is a temporary role which could lead to a permanent opportunity if the candidate is successful. You will need to be confident and have an assertive friendly manner and the ability to deal with multiple workloads as this is a mid-high volume sales ledger/credit control position. Experience of using Sage or similar accounting software and be proficient in Microsoft packages.
