Sales Ledger Clerk // Eccles // £11 -12 per hour // Temp, potentially Temp to perm
There is an urgent requirement for an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to join an organisation in Eccles in order to assist them for a period of at least a couple of months. There is also a requirement for a permanent member of staff, so the successful temporary contractor can be considered for the permanent position if desired.
35 hours per week. On site parking. Close to public transport links.
The role will involve the following duties:
Daily management of the sales Ledger - updating of information for ad hoc and regular sales
Raising sales invoices accurately using SAGE
Posting sales invoices on the system
Carrying out adjustments
Setting up new accounts
Liaising with colleagues in Credit Control to minimise payment issues
Process reports as required
Other duties as needed
Experience and skills required:
Previous Sales Ledger experience within a finance department is essential
Sound Sage Accounts experience is required - Minimum 2 years
Good command of Excel spreadsheets
Excellent communication skills
Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
Personable nature and a reliable, conscientious attitude
