I am currently recruiting for my client based in Basildon for a Sales Ledger Clerk. Due to the location, you will need to be a car owner with you own vehicle. Working for a will established business you will have a minimum of 2 years experience with the following knowledge;

Key duties

  • Allocation of cash/cheques
  • Reconcilliation of bank statements
  • Collecting payments by bacs
  • Chasing customers for payment
  • Creating Month end statements
  • Opening new accounts subject to satisfactory Equifax reports

About you

  • 2 years minimum in a similar role
  • Some accounting qualifications preferred
  • Self motivated
  • Good oral and verbal communication skills
  • Good time keeping/Punctual and reliable
  • IT Literate
  • Self motivated
  • Determined/driven
  • Knowledge of Kerridge system would be useful


Potential £24,000 - £25,000 with commission, (Basic salary: £16,500)


Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00pm
