Sales Ledger Clerk

New opportunity for a Sales Ledger Clerk in Chessington. This is a full-time temporary position paying £12.00 PAYE or £14.50 via an Umbrella Company. You must be available to start immediately. You must have a high level of accuracy, excellent attention to detail and previous experience of working in a credit control/sales ledger role.

Duties and responsibilities include:
• Review and prioritise ledger debt daily
• Maximise cash collections by ensuring payments to terms, minimise the risk of financial loss, and provide cost effective recovery of aged debt
• Timely completion of departmental processes and controls: workflow, cashflow, month end analysis, no remits
• Collection of Manual Direct Debits when due, and act upon any rejected direct debits immediately
• Ensure collection procedures are administered in accordance with company and departmental policies
• Liaise with other departments to ensure that issues are resolved quickly and correctly
• Ensure that a high level of communication is maintained internally and externally
