Sales Ledger Clerk - 3 Months T2P - £11-12ph - Slough

Reporting to: Credit Control Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sales invoice processing

  • Dealing with customer queries

  • Resolve any invoice discrepancies

  • Chase any order number or outstanding order numbers

  • Monthly excel reports

  • Setting up new clients

  • Producing invoices

  • Banking and reconciliation

  • Running off turnover statements

  • Chasing up outstanding debts (not always the easiest part of the job)

  • Sorting out any rebates and filing

  • Checking VAT has been included on invoices

  • Creating and collecting payments via direct debits and cards

  • Providing creditors with VAT receipts

Essential Key Skills

  • Strong Excel Skills

  • Comfortable working in a process led and J-SOX compliance environment.

  • Prioritise and manage workload in a high volume environment.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Total commitment to deadlines

  • Working with team of 11
