Job Title: Sales Ledger Clerk

Job description: We are recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join a market leading organisation based in the Warwickshire area.

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Your main duties will include:

  • Processing direct debits and chare backs
  • Working alongside credit control to ensure payments are processed efficiently
  • Ensuring all payments received in the form of cheques are validated as well as batched by Account Receivables
  • Entering payments into the system on a daily basis
  • Managing the daily banking log of all completed batches
  • Assisting the Shared Service Centre with all remittance advices in order to aid cash allocation
  • Producing various reports to track billing, payments, invoices and allocations
  • Monitoring and managing daily outstanding debt including investigating disputes and potential fraud
  • Processing verification checks as well as analysing fraudulent or valid disputes
  • Dealing with all incoming post and distribute accordingly
  • Responsible for any other general administration

The ideal candidate would possess the following:

  • Previous experience working in a finance environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, particularly excel
  • Available at short notice
