Sales Ledger Clerk

Due to an internal promotion, Nelson Chambers are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Administrator to Join our Client in Maldon. This would suit someone looking to join a successful, UK wide Company that still has the 'family’ touch.

Role purpose:

You will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the department in an efficient, accurate and effective manner, whilst maintaining accurate communications between colleagues and customers to ensure the smooth running of accounts.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Reconciliation and management of accounts
  • Obtaining payments from customers
  • Producing direct debit collections
  • Producing the month and year end reports
  • Produce Analysis of month and year end reports
  • Processing purchase orders
  • Answering incoming phone calls

Person Specification:

  • Ability to work within a team and individually
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Professional and tidy appearance


  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
  • Permanent, Full time
  • Salary: Negotiable Depending on experience
