The Company

One Packaging is one of the leading suppliers of packaging materials and solutions to UK based businesses. Our aim is to provide our clients with the most up to date products available in today’s ever changing market. Now part of the Macfarlane Group, we are urgently seeking to hire an experienced Sales Executives to help us realise our exciting growth plan.

The Sales Executive Role

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager at our Bingham site, this is very much a ‘full sales cycle’ role, whereby you shall be managing a significant portfolio of existing core customers but you will also need to focus a large percentage of your time upon generating new business too. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Sales Executive to cover the wider Leicestershire territory. The ability to allocate time effectively between both existing account management/ development and new business generation shall greatly dictate success in meeting agreed targets.

Sales Executive Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a business plan for allocated territory in order to maximise sales & deliver excellent standards of customer service at all times.
  • Maintain and develop existing accounts whilst also identifying new business opportunities and extending the customer base.
  • Maintain strong sales administration including use of CRM to follow up all leads, enquiries/quotes
  • Adopt a consultative approach with clients in tailoring appropriate solutions to meet needs whilst developing/maintaining a strong knowledge of all packaging solutions and full product range

Do you have the correct profile?

We welcome applications from experienced B2B field sales professionals (minimum 18 months experience ideally). Applicants will ideally be residing ‘on patch’ in the Leicestershire area. You will be an effective negotiator, with the ability to pro-actively build strong relationships via first class communication and influencing skills. You will enjoy genuinely ‘adding value’ to customers and not simply ‘selling product’, this as you will already be familiar with selling a service led solution via a consultative approach. Whilst packaging sales experience isn’t essential, it would be a bonus of course. Otherwise, a background in having sold consumable products but within a ‘solutions’ based approach would fit best. Accustomed to selling with real integrity, you will be used to delighting customers and have a demonstrable track record of sales success in terms of achieving targets consistently. A valid UK Driving Licence is essential.
