Our client a dynamic insurance broker is seeking a number of Sales Executives who are looking for a successful career within the insurance market, full training will be given.

Job Purpose

Administration of client’s insurance requirements on a daily basis including

Chasing Out-Bound quotations via the Interne

Obtaining quotation’s from Inbound client

Mid Term Adjustments

Gaining Cross-Sell information for future renewals

Accounting Procedures

To provide technical administrative and customer services support to management, colleagues and clients.

Key Result Area:

Deal with incoming enquires from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.

Completing all FCA deadlines for compliance.

Administer mid-term adjustments.

Input data onto the office systems.

Liaise with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of client’s needs.

Provide technical and administrative support to the director’s and sales executives.

Assess, assimilate, analyse and present to insurers and underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at the most advantageous rate.

To prepare customer reports on both new and existing risks to support the management team.

To gain future renewal dates for other insurance, for the out-bound team to contact.

No budget or staff responsibilities.

Context - How is the role carried out

Mainly office based role. Incoming work will be distributed via the department manager i.e. all internet quotations to follow up. The account handler will also deal with all customer and sales enquiries as they rise.

Skills and Competencies

High level of inter personal skills - Ability to build a successful, mutual relationship with all clients.

Communications skills must be of a high level as you will deal with clients face to face, over the telephone and also in writing.

Planning and organisational and time management skills also to be of a high standard.

Problem Solving

Computer literate and thorough understanding of company software

Report Writing if necessary
