SALES MANAGER - DIGITAL / SOFTWARE / EXHIBITION - GREATER LONDON, FARNBOROUGH - £30K -£35K + COMMISSION + BONUS

Our Client , a leading provider of integrated services for the Events market is looking for a high calibre Sales Manager to work within a self-organising sales team, using your skills to open doors and drive sales.

As Sales Manager - To succeed you will need to be adriven,dynamic,experienced andhighly motivatedindividual who welcomes the opportunity to take responsibility. You must have an appreciation for the digital design process as well as the sales process.

Sales Manager - Key responsibilities include:

  • Assists where required in all aspects of digital sales, reporting via consistent and transparent information flow through the CRM, stand ups and any other associated forms
  • Manage request for proposals that come into the business
  • Assist the Digital Products sales team with key tasks relating to marketing, sales and other business development activity where required - such as client events and relevant materials
  • Work with US colleagues to maximise all opportunities across the UK and EMEA, including the creation of exciting and stimulating marketing and PR
  • Learn about all operational/customer focused aspects of the business to ensure you have a sound knowledge of what is offered
  • You will need to apply integrity at all times, especially when dealing with any confidential information, whether directly or indirectly
  • Visit potential customers for new business
  • Provide customers with quotations
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends
  • Represent your organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities
  • Record sales and send copies to senior colleagues
  • Review your own sales performance
  • Any other ad-hoc duties in relation to Business Development projects, such as managing information to third party suppliers and PR to any media, managing expenses, taking meeting minutes, raising purchase orders etc.

Sales Manager - The candidate should have:

  • Sales experience and qualifications
  • Great drive, enthusiasm and a "can do" attitude at all times
  • The ability to deliver results and maintain a hunger to succeed without constant supervision
  • An understanding of sales processes such as building a value proposition would be an advantage
  • A proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external managers and contacts
  • Verbal communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports as well as creative presentation documents and relevant materials
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Be results and service focused while always applying team ethics
  • The desire to be an integral part of a dynamic, conscientious and fun to work in sales team
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and strong PC skills
  • Valid driving licence.
