European Road Transportation Sales Executive

(North West: £35-£40k + Bonus & Company car )

With more than 3240 staff members, 120 operational sites, 930,000 m² of warehouses and an invoicing figure of 1.280 billion € (2015), my client is amongst the European leaders in the multimodal transport organisation for road haulage, airfreight, seafreight and logistics, offering a full product range covering the whole logistics chain, throughout AEMEA with their central strategic office based in Brussels.

The opportunity:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Road freight sales professional has become available. You will join this growing global empire driving new and existing business opportunities across the North West region of the UK, specifically within their road services.

Your experience
As a highly successful sales professional, you will have a proven track record in developing existing business, whilst generating new business opportunities across a territory. You will be confident in your ability to generate leads, negotiate profitable rates, whilst closing long term business deals; and have worked within a similar position before; Business Development Manager, Field Sales executive, Sales Executive, Area Sales manager
With an exceptional knowledge of the transport and logistics industry, you will be looking for a challenging and rewarding role, where you can continue to utilise your industry knowledge and network - in order to meet and exceed company revenue targets.
With your natural ability to build relationships, face to face and over the phone, you will ideally have sold within the North West Region or on a global level, specifically throughout Europe; therefore, enabling you to hit the ground running.
