Our client who is a market leader within the manufacturing industry is looking for Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis starting immediately and paying an annual salary between £20,000 - £22,000.
As a Sales Executive you will work as part of the office based sales team to manage pricing and product support for a set of domestic and international business to business accounts.
Developing new business through qualified leads and own research, ensuring that the portfolio meets growth and new business targets.
To be able to gain sufficient knowledge of the products to cross sell across the product range and promote new products to existing customers.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Management of customer accounts to include pricing, orders and product support. Use the software provided to manage the data in line with company policy.
*Developing existing accounts to cross sell for all product groups in line with growth targets set by the sales office manager.
*Convert prospect customers into sales ledger accounts.
*Research and develop new business opportunities to achieve new business targets set by the General Manager.
*Support the business with accurate database administration and technical sales with first line technical calls.
*Provide product support and training to customers for all products including electronically controlled pumps.
*Support customers through our product branding processes.
*Occasional domestic and overseas travel will be required to present products directly to customers and attend industry exhibitions
The ideal candidate:
*Full, clean driving license is essential.
*GCSE Maths and English or A-Level business studies is preferred but not essential
*Proven track record of successful sales performance in a B2B business
*Excellent understanding of business fundamentals, marketing/sales, supply
and demand, profit/loss, b2b distribution channels, international markets
*Strong IT skills, Microsoft Office applications
*Good analytical skills to include percentages and understanding of Profit and loss
*Strong team player
*Good time management
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong commercial awareness
*Highly self motivated and customer focus driven
