Our client is a global B2B Media Company currently looking for an experienced Sales Executive to sell sponsorship and exhibition space for the company's largest and well-established exhibition, working with some of the leading retail brands within the sector.
As Sales Executive you will be responsible for driving growth with existing accounts by achieving, and surpassing sales /revenue targets and performance objectives.
You will also be responsible for:
- Making outgoing sales calls to existing clients to maximise revenue
- Be knowledgeable about market, customers, competitors and products in order to sell solutions to customers effectively
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation
- Look to upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow a customer's spend with us
- Ensure accurate use and maintenance of system supporting sales activities
The ideal candidate must possess:-
- Up to 1 year's proven experience or more in B2B event sales.
- Confident verbal communication skills
- Good literacy and numeric skills required
- Computer literate
- Ability to work in a high performing, fast paced environment
- Media telephone sales experience desirable
