Sales Executive

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join a growing organisation based in Southampton, Hampshire as a Field Sales Executive.

Our client is one of the UK’s leading materials handling solutions providers, with around 100 employees across there offices and service centres. They work in partnership with some of the world’s leading brands, and are able to offer one of the most comprehensive range of materials handling equipment to the UK market.

About this role:

The company are privately owned and over 50 years’ experience within their market. They have a wealth of customers who continue to use their services. You will be responsible for managing these clients as well as winning new business when the opportunities arise.

Your role will be field based, covering the Solent region. The sales team in the office will book your appointments in advance for you and your role is to be the face of the business and meet the client’s to arrange the sale of the products.

We are looking for someone who has at least one year’s worth of sales experience, however if you are extremely enthusiastic about working within sales and think you would exceed within a Sales role with training, please do apply.

What do I need to succeed:

  • An interest in Engineering is an advantage but not essential
  • An infectious personality is vitally important
  • A fast paced nature, always wanted to succeed is important
  • A desire to learn and achieve
  • Excellent communication skills (listening to your client’s is important)
  • A full clean drivers licence
  • An enthusiasm for sales and the drive to gain a career as a Sales Manager one day

The role will see you on the road at appointments from Mon-Thurs and in the office on a Friday.

A company car is provided for this role, as well as a laptop and phone.

M-F 40hrs per week. Salary is 18k plus commission (earning in the region of up to 25k)
