We are a long established local business working in the Suffolk tourism sector connecting local businesses with tourists and visitors to the area.

Part of a larger Group, we are seeking new talent to join us on an exciting journey as we both consolidate our local position and expand to develop a new national brand for businesses operating in the UK tourism industry.

You will be an enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed.

You will have an engaging telephone manner, able to build rapport and deliver an excellent customer service to achieve new business sales and renewal subscriptions.

Must have proven sales background and be able to work individually and as part of a team.

What will the role involve?

  • Development and ongoing relationship management of a portfolio of business advertisers in the UK tourism sector

  • Identifying potential advertisers to join both:

    • Established websites with hundreds of thousands of visitors per annum, and

    • An exciting new national website focusing on the UK tourism sector

  • Key elements of the role include:

    • Identification of potential new advertisers

    • Negotiation of advertising packages with advertisers

    • Liaising with businesses to develop advertising activity and propositions

    • Maintaining relationships with current advertisers and renewing their subscriptions

    • Production of monthly newsletters

    • Development of competitions

    • Generation of insurance leads for an in-house insurance brokerage

      What are we looking for?

  • Computer literate
  • GCSE C grade or above English and Maths required
  • Good communication skills - both written and oral
  • Experience in a sales environment - previous experience of selling advertising would be an advantage
