Our client is an established, family run publishing company and they produce a number of recognised motoring and machinery magazines.
Due to expansion they are recruiting for a Media Sales Executive to join their friendly, positive and enthusiastic in-house, office based sales team.
The company is very professional however enjoy a relaxed and informal working atmosphere although their motto is very much work and play hard !
Whilst full training is given you will ideally have gained a minimum of 6 months sales experience or have gained experience within a customer service role with experience of making outbound calls.
On the job and ongoing training is provided to support you in developing your experience and long term career within the company.
As Trainee Media Sales Executive you will need excellent communication skills as you will be selling advertising space across their portfolio of magazines and account management of your clients however as this is a very varied role you will be trained in all aspects of the business and get involved in chasing copy, editorial, layout and liaising with their printers.
Whilst this is a sales role due to the nature and relaxed ethos of the company they want their team to enjoy the job and be successful and so do not work with pressurised sales targets and work very much as a team, you will learn all aspects of publishing with the opportunity to progress and develop within the company.
Office based Monday - Friday 9.30 am - 5.30 am Competitive salary + commission
