We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Executive / Project Tracker, to join this new department at our client's new regional office based in Shepshed.
You will be working on multiple projects (each up to £15k in value), following up on bids and tenders, working closely with internal team members at head office as well as providing solutions and advice to Civil, M&E contractors. Ultimately converting bids and tenders into sales orders, then following the order through to point of delivery and installation.
You will communicate, liaise and negotiate effectively, both internally and externally, and be able to produce quotes and technical data when required. This is very much a customer focused role and a lot of your time will be spent liaising with them whilst also dealing with significant stakeholders in the construction industry.
You will be positive and enthusiastic with a customer-centric focus, have a high degree of resilience and a natural ability to communicate in a professional manner and you must be comfortable conversing at a senior executive level.
This role would suit someone who possesses a confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to use your own initiative, with a high level of attention to detail; you must be able to understand complex and technical detail.
A minimum of two years' experience in a proactive sales environment, following projects through to fruition, is highly desirable. Competency with the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel) & CRM systems is also required.
Working Mon - Fri, 25 Days holiday.
A generous salary of up to £30k is available for the right person.
