The Company:

AnyVan is an online platform that facilitates the movement of items across the UK and Europe at a discounted rate. Launched in 2009, we now have over 2.4 million users and 60,000 transport companies, bringing efficiency and cost savings into a fragmented market.

AnyVan offers a reverse-auction system, which provides customers a range of quotes from trusted transport providers, eliminating the gruelling search process and usually allowing them to choose the best quote for their individual needs.

The role:

We are looking for a young energetic and dedicated Sales Executive (French native speaker) to join the growing business division at AnyVan.

The role will involve handling French customers although sometimes, you will deal with customers from other countries. The language in the office is English and meetings and announcements are conducted in English. We are looking for someone fully proficient in both languages (French and English).

Duties

  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone or emails
  • To reach the targets and goals set for your territory
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries (within 24h)
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • You will be expected to increase conversion rate of customers who have received a quote through the website
  • You will be expected to represent AnyVan in a positive and professional way
  • Provide pricing and delivery information
  • Perform customer verification
  • Manage customers' accounts
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
  • Good communication flow with line manager, providers and other departments

Education and Experience

  • 1-2 years sales experience (within a call centre a plus)
  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Ability to type
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures
  • Numeric, oral and written language applications

3 months provisional period (renewable)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £18,000.00 to £21,000/year (according to experience) + commission
