Our client is a small independent firm looking for a Sales Executive to join their sales team and work in close liaising with Accounts, Editorial and Production as required. The Sales Executive will be increase and maximise advertisement volumes and revenue from a given category or territory, to maintain and develop a high standard of customer relationship and goodwill at all times maintaining and increasing business from existing accounts and through the introduction of new accounts; to work efficiently as part of a team.
This position is ideally suited to an individual seeking to work closer to home in an enviroment that appreciates and recognises your contribution. You will be a self starter who is proactive and can sell into the publication and across the different media platforms. It would be preferably to have an advertising sales background although not essential
Ideally they would have media telesales experience having worked for other newspapers/magazines in a telesales role but at the very least they must have a solid background in telesales. We currently employ 4 telesales staff so we need someone who can work as a team player, who is willing to help in all areas. The sales person is responsible for everything from making the initial contact, through to creating a relationship, booking the advertising, completing any administration necessary, getting the artwork in on time and ensuring the customer in satisfied with what they booked. currently pay £19,000+ plus 5% uncapped commission on everything the salesperson sells.
