Sales Executive / Account Manager

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: Good Basic OTE of £30,000 - £55,000 Uncapped (DoE), Car Allowance and Pension

About our client

Our client is an IT specialist and they currently seeking talented sales professionals. They have two roles that they are recruiting for. One is for the distribution side of the business so dealing with resellers on a daily basis and the other is for the systems integrator / managed service side of the business.

The Sales Executive / Account Manager role

They would be interested to here from candidates with relevant experience in account management within the IT industry. They would also consider an eager salesperson looking to get into account management within the IT industry, the candidate would have to have a keen interest in IT though if they have no previous experience within this field.

The Ideal Sales Executive / Account Manager will need the following skills attributes and experience:

Distribution Role

  • B2B sales and pro-active account management
  • Business development of new and existing client base
  • Maximise sales opportunities by cross selling and up selling
  • Sales negotiation and closing of deals
  • Development of technical skills through training
  • Visiting customers to build relationships

Systems Integrator / Managed Service Role

  • Consultative solution selling
  • Proactive technical sales to achieve set targets
  • Business development of new and existing client base
  • Maximise sales opportunities by cross and up selling
  • Coordinate with Ops team regarding installations, costings and delivery of projects
  • Build marketing plans with our marketing department for lead generation
  • Provide reports on sales analysis and activity

The right Sales Executive / Account Manager must have the following skill-sets:

  • The PASSION to sell technical solutions
  • The DRIVE to meet and exceed KPI's and sales targets
  • The ABILITY to naturally build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Experienced in pricing & cost negotiation
  • Skills in cold-calling and business development
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Confident communication - excellent verbal and written English language skills
  • IT literate on all "standard" Microsoft Office packages
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
