Sussex Recruitment is working with a local growing company to recruit a Sales Executive for their business, specialising in global mail and parcel distribution services. You will be a confident and professional business development person with the gravitas to work on a business to business level with both existing and new business opportunities.
The position will be mainly office based (Eastbourne) but client visits will be required and therefore a full UK driving licence will be essential. The Sales Representative will be the key point of contact between the company and its clients, and will be responsible for the following:
Promoting the business solution, maintaining a healthy pipeline of customers and expanding on existing relationships. Meeting with customers when required.
Booking your own appointments to meet with potential customers to sell the variety of solutions. Developing relationships with prospects.
Travelling will be involved but 70% of this business development role will be office based.
The basic salary is £18,000 pa but OTE £28,000 to £30,000 pa.
Essential requirements include:
- Minimum a year in sales experience preferably in freight forwarding.
- A demonstrable and successful sales history.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Enthusiastic & self-motivated personality.
- Good organisational skills.
- Team player.
- Good IT Skills including Excel.
