Role Overview:
Based at our Westok offices in Leeds we are currently recruiting for a Sales & Estimating Manager to manage our dynamic Sales and Estimating team.
The main purpose of the job is to develop, plan and implement sales and estimating strategies in order to
grow ASD Westok’s sales to both existing and new customers/sectors, in accordance with agreed business plans.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and develop relationships with key customer/account stakeholders.
- Evaluate and implement price strategy in line with market rates and budget aspiration.
- Develop and communicate Sales and Estimating Team commercial strategy and focus.
- Manage and motivate day to day performance of sales team and deliver reviews.
- Hold regular team meetings and direct-report staff 1-2-1’s.
- Monitor and review KPI’s for direct-reporting staff.
- Coach and develop direct-reporting staff.
- Identify, monitor and report on competitor and market trends.
- Monitor sales team metrics and activities. Provide relevant monthly management information.
- Create and develop project tracking, conversion and lost order data/report.
- Self-development in understanding of business, industry and supply chain.
- Work with the marketing team to develop case studies, campaign ideas and bulletin content.
- Ensure correct use KliCC and Strumis amongst direct-reporting staff.
- Recruitment of any direct-reporting staff.
- Work in conjunction with the Design team to enhance sales opportunities and reduce risk by providing an optimised solution.
- Support the accounts teams in helping to reduce debtor days and improve NWC.
- Work in collaboration with the Contracts Manager to ensure any disputes are resolved in a timely fashion.
