My client are a specialist supplier of Mechanical Equipment into the Oil and Gas Sector. They are recognised globally for their high quality process and mechanical equipment. As a result of their continuing success, they are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join their growing team.
The Role As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for managing and developing the company's business in the UK, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Caspian Regions.
Your key responsibilities would include:
·Key Account Management
·Develop sales strategies and set targets
·Responsible for achieving orders, sales and margin targets
·Hunt for and develop new customers
·Identify, handle and develop major customer accounts
·Report to management in the UK sales office
·Keep up to date with products and competitors
·Business development knowledge and maybe willing to occasionally travel internationally
To be successful in this role you will require HNC or equivalent technical education, with appropriate professional experience in sales.
Product knowledge in Mechanical and Process equipment, as well as experience in sales of these would be preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent commercial skills and good Oil and Gas market knowledge.
35 % Bonus - 5 % Pension
