THE ROLE: Covering the 32 counties, the successful Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling this companies mechanical solutions, both in a specification-lead capacity for projects, as well as selling on an ongoing basis for re-orders. You will mainly be targeting process end users including food, beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers, but also selling to the mining, utility and wastewater sectors. You will be selling to project engineers as well as project engineers, MRO, procurement, process and maintenance managers. This role has come about due to expansion. With full product training, these specialists are looking for a suitable candidate to join their already very successful business.
THE PERSON: For this role, we are looking to speak to people that have experience dealing with process end users, as well as those experienced dealing with utilities, wastewater, mining and other forms of manufacturing. Ideally you will have sold mechanical solutions. Candidates that have sold pumps, valves, instrumentation, automation, pneumatics or hydraulics to name a few should apply. You must be capable of dealing with organisations within the sectors listed at all levels and be capable of working autonomously.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a German manufacturer of mechanical solutions which they sell into the process end user marketplace. They have been established for over 50 years and are one of the leading and most well known brands in their field. Although they already have a strong presence in Ireland, they have grown substantially in the last 3 years and have ambitious plans to grow further in the coming years.
THE PACKAGE FOR SALES ENGINEER:
- Salary: €45,000 - €60,000
- Bonus: 5-10%
