I am pleased to be representing a leading valve management that have a global client base. They are specialists in all things valves topside and subsea, instrumentation, actuators and ancillary equipment such as flanges, piping, fittings and other related products. They offer supply, testing, maintenance, inspection and valve integrity surveys. They serve predominantly oil & gas as well as power, decommissioning and mining. The have won several large contract with key customers which has lead then to appoint a new sales engineer for the team in Aberdeen.
Sales Engineer Responsibilities
As sales engineer you will be responsible for managing and developing all existing accounts. You will be given a set amount of account to deal with and will be responsible for all enquiries and customer service within these multimillion pound accounts. Longer term face to face meeting will be expected of the successful candidate.
The successful sales engineer will ideally have valve, actuator or related valve sales experience and come from a customer service, technical sales, account management or business development, applications engineer type position. You will have a good understanding of technical sales and customer specification and be able to confidently communicate with customers.
You must be commutable to Aberdeen
There are great long terms prospects with this rapidly growing service provider vertically into management or horizontally into other areas of the business.
