Sales Engineer - Key Accountabilities:

  • Improve the technical buy in process
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations (face to face + remotely)
  • Assist customers with installation and basic configuration of evaluation versions of the company’s products
  • Deliver technical training workshops to both internal and external participants
  • Provide assistance and support to technical support teams
  • Provide premium-quality presales technical account management to customers
  • Work proactively to ensure prompt resolution of technical and security issues / queries
  • Demonstrable customer service and technical skills
  • Identify and recommend improvement opportunities that enhance the client relationship
  • Work with managed services providers on deployments of our RMM tool
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communications, discussions and escalations in Salesforce

Sales Engineer - Required Competencies:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in network / security solutions
  • Experience in cloud / SaaS services, RMM
  • Strong commercial, sales and business understanding plus technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications, Microsoft Office and CRM as Salesforce
  • International experience
  • Strong verbal and written skills including excellent presentation skills
  • Autonomous, team-player, hard-worker, target-driven, self-motivated, multi-tasking and influential
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, strong negotiation and closing skills (sales)
