Sales Enablement Manager job, based London Blackfriars, 3 month FTC to Perm opportunity. £competitive salary.
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Enablement Manager to join my client to provide a dynamic and professional support service to the Sales force. The role will report to the Head of Sales Enablement and Associates and will be based at our Blackfriars offices. There may be some travel required between offices.
The Sales Enablement team is responsible for the Accelerating Success programme which covers Sales Education and Development for our UK Sales force ensuring that they are relevant to our customers, brilliant at what they do and able to win more business. This newly launched programme is currently in set up mode and requires the support of an individual with creative, marketing, SharePoint 2013 and social media skills to help communicate the programme aims, what areas of education and development available to the sales force and the delivery of a number of education and development activities.
The role is crucial in supporting the team to implement their key priorities and deliverables and will play an integral part in the achievement of our UK business goals so it is essential that candidates are comfortable working in a large, fast paced corporate organisation.
You will be required to work in a cross functional team providing support required by the business and will ensure that relevant internal and external parties are engaged with in a timely and professional manner.
Suitable applicants will have a marketing and/or creative background with a good basic understanding of trends within the IT Industry, particularly in relation to the needs of large Corporate organisations. Familiarity with the use of social media to drive visibility and interest will be important as will experience of developing and managing web based content and SharePoint sites.
Initially this will be a 3 month contract with the potential of the role becoming permanent after this period.
Establishing and driving Sales Education and Development portal development and ongoing content management on Sharepoint 2013
Driving internal communications to the Sales force
Driving the use of collaboration tools
Promoting Sales Education and Development events
Planning, generating and publishing insights from internal technologists, sales people and external vendor partners.
The Ideal Candidate
Degree or degree level equivalent qualification or 3 - 5 year's experience in a similar role
Desire to succeed
Creative, marketing and communications experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication, literacy and numerical skills
Attention to deal and a strong sense of urgency
Professional work ethic and the capacity to work well in a deadline driven environment
Ability to solve problems, prioritise and manage workloads
Keep abreast of departmental/divisional activity and specific projects
Understand primary contacts and maintain strong network
Have an understanding of the market and customers relating to the team
Assertive with a professional approach to all aspects of work
Good SharePoint and Collaboration and Communication tool skills
