Red Rock Partnership Limited are delighted to be working with their prestigious Client based in the North East who are looking for a Sales Director to compliment their busy team.

Main duties:

  • Service traditional independent high street retailers
  • Oversee high growth opportunities in grocery multiples and new business in the retail food service sector
  • Developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans
  • Select and recruit the best individuals in order to develop and grow the team
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Understand category specific landscapes and trends
  • To execute the responsibilities of a Company Director according to lawful and ethical standards.
  • Potentially some international travel required

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Proven experience as a sales executive, sales manager or Director
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self development & continuing personal development
