Location: Mitcham

Salary: £75k - £110k

A Global custom merchandising business is looking for an experienced Director.Manager to take over management of an 8 person team in Mitcham. The focus will be very much growing and expanding the current portfolio. Your goal will be to develop and mentor the current team, as well as play a key role in the development of platform clients. the team is currently well positioned, but your goal is to take the team to the next well.

This role is perfect for anyone with a Sales management background, looking to lead a high performing division. The focus here is around a candidate experienced in growing out teams and improving a bottom line. You will be given all necessary tools, and be expected to maintain a margin of at least 28%, which is very high for the space.

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will have full remit over how the team is developed, and be expected to "roll your sleeves up" and get engaged with the team on a 1-1 level. While flexible working is certainly an option, you will certainly need to be in the office on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate will come from a media or marketing sales background, and understand the value of branded merchandise. Furthermore, you will have run teams of 5 or more, be they key account of BD teams. This is not a stuffy business, and instead very much young business looking to position itself aggressively in EMEA over the next 18 months. You will be working with the likes of Apple, Honda, and Coke so you must be comfortable working with market leading brands.
