Established in 2010 by a mix of IT professionals and Recruitment experts this company has seen consistent growth through client and staff retention and understanding end user needs. However, like many that enjoy fast growth, a gap has appeared in the senior leadership team. As such, they need an additional business leader to help maintain that growth curve.
This Recruitment business specialises in - Java, CRM, ERP, Tibco, BI, EDM, Investment banking and asset management technologies. They operate in several business sectors, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, consultancy, retail and public sector.
Currently the business has 50 heads. These recruiters operate in IT recruitment, with delivery teams, sales teams, contract teams and permanent recruitment teams. The business operates in the UK with a fast-growing client base in other European countries. The target is to get to 100 heads in the next two to three years, if not sooner.
They need a strategist. Someone comfortable with P&L. A person who can see what the business is going to need moving forward and contribute to the strategic vision. Someone who can help the business create exceptional recruitment teams and further build upon their reputation for delivery and success.
Essentially, this is an opportunity to take the position of Sales Director in a growing 45million t/o IT recruitment company. Then build a business with the owners, that you can all be proud of.
Positions like this are rare, normally because the business owners are hesitant, or refuse to hand over control of something they have got this far. A cult of personality and lifestyle business this is not. What we sometimes see is a company that will hire a director with, extensive experience of building profitable divisions or companies, then tell them what to do. Or worse, manage the company over their shoulder and overrule every decision you make, making your role untenable.
